Telegram is great for selling products, services, and digital content. I actually love running a channel there. But there's one big issue: it's really hard and expensive to grow a Telegram channel. Organic growth is basically non-existent.
Recently, I started looking for new platforms to promote myself as a specialist, and I decided to try Threads—even though I didn't expect much. I made a few posts and saw crazy reach. Within a couple of weeks, I gained almost 250 followers from zero. A lot of them clicked through to my Telegram channel (linked in my pinned post) and subscribed there.
That obviously got my attention, so I started posting more actively.
I also noticed that many people are already trying to use the Threads → Telegram funnel to promote and sell their products or services. But most of it is still done manually or with clunky automations.
That's when I got the idea to build a simple product that would handle most of the promotion automatically.
It's a Telegram bot called Threadsup. It automatically parses posts from your Telegram channel, extracts key ideas, and turns them into posts for Threads—then publishes them automatically.
If you run out of ideas, it generates new ones that match your style.
It also tracks performance metrics and learns what kind of content resonates best with your audience over time.
Even if you don't have a Telegram channel, it still works—you just describe your business, and it generates content based on that. The more detailed your description, the better the personalization.
Under the hood, it uses several popular AI models that review each other's output to make the content feel more natural, human, and personalized. That's especially important because Threads right now favors authenticity and real personal experience over fake "expert" content and generic coaching vibes.
Soon, I'm planning to add support for multiple Threads accounts and expand to other text-first platforms like X (Twitter), LinkedIn, and Bluesky.
I'm also not ignoring visual content—image and video generation/processing with AI is coming soon as well.
Would really appreciate your feedback.
